1. Who this applies to

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website at aesthetictree.ca (the "Site"), operated by Aesthetic Tree & Hedge Services, located at 273 Renfrew St, Vancouver, BC ("we," "us," "our"). By using the Site or requesting a quote through it, you agree to these Terms.

2. Services described on the Site

Aesthetic Tree & Hedge Services provides arborist, tree removal/pruning, and hedge services across Vancouver, West Vancouver, North Vancouver, Burnaby, Coquitlam, Richmond, Delta, and the Sea-to-Sky corridor (Lions Bay, Furry Creek, Britannia Beach, Squamish, Whistler), BC. Descriptions, photos, and pricing information on the Site are for general information only and do not constitute an offer that we are obligated to fulfill on the terms shown.

3. Quotes and estimates are not binding contracts

Any quote, estimate, or price range given through the Site, by phone (604-721-7370), or by email is an estimate based on the information available at that time. It is not a binding offer and does not create a contract. A binding agreement exists only once both parties confirm the job in writing (quote confirmation, work order, or signed estimate) setting out scope, price, and timeline. Tree condition, access, permit requirements, and municipal tree-removal bylaws may change the scope and price from the initial estimate.

4. Permits and municipal bylaws

Tree removal on private property in BC municipalities often requires a permit. Obtaining any required permit is the customer's responsibility unless our written quote states otherwise. We are not liable for bylaw fines resulting from work requested without a required permit.

5. Payment terms

Payment terms for a specific job are set out in the written quote confirmation or invoice and take precedence over anything stated generally on the Site.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by the laws of British Columbia, Aesthetic Tree & Hedge Services is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or reliance on information published on it. Liability for work performed (including property damage during tree work) is governed by the written quote/work order, not this Site.

7. Intellectual property

All text, images, logos, and design on the Site belong to Aesthetic Tree & Hedge Services or are used under license. You may not copy, reproduce, or republish Site content for commercial purposes without our written permission.

8. Third-party links

The Site may link to third-party sites (review platforms, social media, municipal bylaw pages). We do not control and are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of third-party sites.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and Canada. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Site will be resolved in the courts of British Columbia.
